Last week's CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year Awards Banquet in Warsaw was reminiscent of our own legal Oscars, shining a spotlight on the hard work behind the scenes while celebrating achievement.
Lawyers from across Central and Eastern Europe gathered for this prestigious event andwe had the honor to represent our project of Croatia’s EUR 1.85 billion retailbond issuance, the first of a kind in Croatia, shortlisted as one of the four most important for the year 2023 in our country.
Though each shortlisted project was unique, we all had initially the same challenge - condensing weeks and months of effort into a 400-word summary that felt like squeezing a blockbuster into a trailer.
Even though we didn't take home the top prize this time, a big shoutout to all the winners, especially Bradvica, Maric, Wahl, Cesarec for Croatian jurisdiction, and Radu, Bianca and Teona for organizing such a great event.
