Pavo holds a strong background in Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, M&A, and Restructuring, including NPL’s resolution.

He built his career at the Commercial Court in Zagreb and Zagrebačka banka, one of the most important financial institutions in the region. As the Co-Head of Corporate Special Solutions under the umbrella of the international UniCredit Group, Pavo has mastered legal and regulatory frameworks that govern highly regulated financial markets. This experience enabled him to complement legal knowledge with direct management over most complex business transactions, all while shaping his business acumen.

In 2017, Pavo graduated from SDA Bocconi, from which he holds a Master’s degree in Corporate and Investment Banking.

Pavo’s breadth of experience, versatility and analytical skills allow him to provide integrated legal solutions while carefully weighing in a broader strategic narrative. He has advised clients in numerous capital raise transactions before domestic and international credit institutions; capital market transactions (both ECM and DCM), including preparation and approval of the prospectus and listing of instruments on the stock exchange; and on M&A transactions, including distressed M&A, and joint venture transactions. In addition, Pavo regularly consults clients on their day-to-day business operations, which in turn contribute to reaching their strategic objectives, respectively.

Just as the old adage goes, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity", Pavo is a proponent of lifelong learning. He is always hungry for knowledge and regularly seeks new challenges to polish personal and professional skills.
