Last Thursday, our team gathered in Old Pilots Gin Distillery for a little farewell before we kick off the summer holidays.

We chose this particular place to honor one of the latest projects we've participated in as legal advisor - our client Badel 1862, the leading producer of spirits in the region recognized the potential of unique craft distillery The Spirit in the Bottle Ltd. and as a strategic investor decided to support its further development.

Old Pilots Dry Gin, from its first appearance on the global stage in 2019, was recognized as the best in the world in the category of dry gins, while Old Pilot’s Vodka is recognized as the Best Croatian Pure Varietal Vodka. Besides upgrading the existing premium products, this investment is the inception of another visionary new product - craft whiskey.

While enjoying ingenious cocktails crafted by one of the Croatian's best bartenders Darko Uremović, Tomislav Anadolac told us their story - the story about friendship and partnership with Hrvoje Bušić, about following their passion, seeking inspiration, and never giving up.

How inspiring to see that the true measure of business success is defined by who we are and what principles we stand for!

As we left this magical place and faced the hot asphalt of Zagreb streets, numerous impressions filled our minds and hearts, yet one impression rose above all others; Although our work is primarily rational and logical, we're thankful for the mysterious element that draws such incredible projects and exceptional people into our lives.
